Carpentry and joinery package underway with 120 fire doors to be fitted in the New Year.

Our parent company, BW Consultants Ltd have commenced work on a major project at Gramophone Works on behalf of Grahams. This includes carpentry and joinery work to install a number of timber upstands and roof access hatches as well as refitting the Reception area and Cafe Roof Terraces over the new few months.

Once the building renovations are complete, the Fire Door Experts arm of the company will beginning installing 120 fire doors. Doors have been procured from Integrated Doorset Solutions Limited with ironmongery from AllGood.

This project is not only a major work contract, but also a perfect example of the wide ranging skillsets of the BWC and FED operatives.

Fire Door Experts are back on site at Euston Station for the 13th month running, working on behalf of Skanska and Network Rail for all enabling works for their HS2 project.

This contract originally started off as a small contract to supply and install two Assa Abbloy Steel doors for a riser wall. Now into our 13th consecutive month as our contract has grown, this demonstrates our quality of work and the varied, high skillset of our site teams as we are able to absorb whatever works that Skanska and Network Rail decide to engage us with.

This fast developing and successful relationship really is a testament to our site team and their dedication and highly adaptable skillset.

10 months later, we are still working on behalf of Skanska and Network Rail for all enabling works for their HS2 project.

This clearly demonstrates our quality of work, and the varied, high level skillset of our site teams. We have always been able to absorb whatever works that Skanska and Network Rail engage us with.

This fast developing and successful relationship is testament to our site team. It highlights their dedication and highly adaptable skill set.

But this contract extension hasn’t been just down to the workmanship and adaptability of our technicians. Fire Door Experts have also had to adapt our office-based protocols to provide seamless support to the main contractors.
