Fire Door Experts are proud to have delivered this fire door replacement project for Sellings CofE School in Faversham, Kent – on time, to budget! Engaged as fire door contractors by ST Construction on behalf of Carré Consultancy, FDE worked closely with client, school and supply chain to ensure the smooth running of the project.
American White Oak fire door assemblies were specified; FDE employed Humphrey & Stretton for these, with all doors bespoke made to measure to ensure seamless installation within current fire door regulations.
All ironmongery was procured from HAF, providing high quality, fire rated products to schedule.
Given the potential stresses when working to tight deadlines within school holidays, the FDE team showed their ability to work professionally under pressure. The project was delivered on time, with just one snagging defect for an overhead door closer.
The Final Account has been agreed, and the project has been a great success for all concerned.
