This 18-month project, working throughout the Covid19 pandemic, on behalf of our long-standing main contractor client AQ CSL, was one of our most logistical challenging projects to date.
Our scope involved the supply and fit of the fire door-sets and ironmongery throughout this stunning, award winning, airside Executive Airport lounge in Heathrow Airport, Terminal 3.
Working extensively with AQ CSL and the full design team to bring to life the design intent of the internal fabric, all door-sets manufactured by Forza Doors were spray paint finished, some sprayed different colours each side, with ironmongery by Allgood.
2 particular fire door-sets stood out on this project. A lobby door leading into the Back of House, with a recessed frame and planted on beading to match the Corian clad reception walls.
But the main focus for this project was the Main Entrance fire door-set. A 60-minute fire door-set spray painted in the iconic blue colour of the brand, clad in Palusol®SW panels from Mann McGowan.
A stunning fire door-set which truly complimented the exquisite and expert craftsmanship of the highly skilled interior fit out team at TMJ Interiors.
